post-Easter Devlog!


Welcome back, ye Knights, Maidens and Lieges!

Hope you all had a wonderful Easter holiday and/or Easter day.

We've taken a small break too, but before that we've been getting busy!

Our weapons now have a few more variations. The new weapons are: Long Sword, Mace, Hammer and a One-handed Axe!
All of them now also spawn properly and can be used by the player.

These weapons also all have different stats. For example: compared to the basic Sword, the Hammer deals more damage, but has a smaller hitbox and is also a bit harder to wield due to how heavy it is.

Coming up to our environment now, our castle looks way better than it did before!


But, with such a pristine castle, there needs to be some defenses put in place!

Spikes have finally been added to our game, so make sure you don't fly into them!
And that's not all, going outside of the boundaries of the walls is VERY dangerous and will instantly kill you, so be sure to not get flung over the wall either.

Now that we've gone over the images, there are some things we can't take images of, such as controller rumble!
The controller rumble activates (depending on which settings are turned on) when getting hit or dealing damage to someone. 
You'll notice that once you try out the current version of the game :)

Coming up right now is our final week of the first production sprint. There are still a few things we'll have have to work on, such as:

  • Our UI and Settings menu
  • small props to scatter around
  • A bridge over the water

And some more stuff that you'll see next week! :D
