Polishing our blades


Greetings, ye Knights, Maidens and Lieges!

And welcome to our second to last Devlog! 😯
We're in the first week of polish right now, which means we can't add mechanics anymore, only update what we have.

Our first thing on the list, was an updated HUD and Scoreboard Now they're not made up of images with filters on them anymore, but rather a design that fits more into the whole aesthetic.

When you're in the fire now, it will also be indicated on your healthbar.
 

We also updated the loading screen! (with some amazing tips)

When you die, there's also a MASSIVE explosion now.

To add some more life to our game, we put a crowd in the castle to cheer you on! dance

...Wait, no need to panic, it's just our new screenshake!
The screenshake will trigger when a player dies, or when a dragon flies over.screenshake

Our programmers also made it possible for the gate to move up, when you're starting the game

Another thing they did, is add a pop-up for the controller scheme display!

Our controller scheme should already be known to you, as it is on our main page.

Lastly, together with the screenshake, they added some shaking on the player icons.

One thing we can't really show, is our new audio. We've added audio for the dragon, weapon break and the fire!
